I was honestly expecting a Throne of Glass male version because of its cover, but I got Harry Potter meets The Lord of the Rings! Not that I've finished LotR, but I know its world soooo... lol.

The Novice was such a surprise and fun, quick read, that I would definitely recommend this to people. Two thumbs up for the very likeable world, characters, and most especially the demons! This is going to my favorite shelf.
