Luna and the Lie by Mariana Zapata
5.0
The only negative thing I have to say about this book is that the male narrator of the audiobook ruined the audio version for me. I got a few chapters in and switched to just reading on my Kindle. I think they were going for "dude with hella deep voice" but instead, it sounded like Rip was a 78 year old man doing his best Johnny Cash impression. But the actual book? 10/10.
Oh my goddddddd. This book goes on my "God Tier" of MZ books with The Wall of Winnipeg and Me. Truly. I loved every single second of this book and found myself reading certain pages 2 or 3 times because they hit so perfectly. I don't know if I have ever highlighted more sentences and paragraphs in any other book before.
Luna Allen has to be my favorite FMC of all Mariana Zapata books. Honestly, she may be one of my favorite book characters ever.
A million stars.
