Every Time You Hear That Song by Jenna Voris
4.5
I would listen to Deklee's music if I could.
I liked how this book was set up with the alternating timelines and how we got to see some of the moments Darren talked about "live" as they were happening.
I think this book could have been a tad longer so that we could have spent a little more time on Darren's self-discovery storyline but I still liked that part of the book and think it was a good addition.
I also loved the vibes of this book, it reminded me of Daisy Jones and the Six.
Something about Darren wanting to escape her small town also really resonated with me.
