WOW! I knew Kate was a goddess of words after In a Jam but she is also the goddess of banter now. This one starts out with banter and doesn’t stop. Brother’s best friend with some age gap and throws in small town life with a fancy oyster restaurant and a vegan cafe, with all the side characters as well. This is one of those books that even though it's almost 500 pages you can’t get enough of- like I’m going to need Dex soon!

Beckett is another book boyfriend for the ages - old growth tights, is about to get the whole wine list so she has her favorite, and so many other wonderful nuggets with him! Sunny is well sunshine but you throw in a hot older man that decapitated her little ponies she goes hard after ya. Loved these two and couldn’t get enough!!

Without giving too much away this is another winner of the year! For me it hit all the right things with some wonderful quotes I will be using from now on- hot AF tights- old growth, us and our bags of trauma- reusable grocery bags. I can’t wait for more of this series!!
