Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris

Alright, so this book was very interesting. There was a decent plot and decent story telling.
HOWEVER. I did not like Jack. I won't spoil anything for you but ultimately he was predictable and not my cup of tea at all.
It was on the verge of being dark but didn't cross the line enough to be scary or enjoyable.
It was heroic to some degree but again, not enough to fully call it a 'thrilling read'.
Truth be told I do struggle with mystery novels a bit as I haven't read one that really surprised me or left me in suspense so I am biased.
If I could figure out how to give this novel a 2.5 I would but you know.... computers and all.
Overall I would give this book a 'meh' on the scale of Awful to AMAZING.
