Okay so I’m a fuck who didn’t read the subtitle and thought this was about the hiking sort of backpacking, but also to be fair to me, apparently the library didn’t either because this was definitely housed with hiking and not with travel.

Anyway.

If I actually had any sort of actionable “go see the world” plans, this would’ve been fantastic; as it is, left with only unactionable “go see the world” plans, tbh I was mostly frustrated. And repeatedly amused by the very basic rules of safety–don’t wander around in strange places alone at night. Don’t get blackout drunk. Etc.
