The Walking Dead: Compendium 4 by Robert Kirkman
3.0
Pros
- Andrea's death was incredibly well written and emotional. It serves to further incentives Rick's cause. It's the closest I came to crying in the whole series.
Cons
- The end to the Whisper's War was stupid. The Whisper's had so much potential to be terrifying, and they were at first. Killing Alpha was a bold move. But it felt like nothing came of it. One show off with Beta and then Aaron and Jesus come along and are like "lol bye Beta, *stab*." How anticlimactic. It feels like Kirkman got through 95% of writing the Whisper's, thought of the Commonwealth idea and wanted to move straight into it.
Overall, I feel this book was the weakest out of the 4. However, I give the series as a whole 4/5.
