The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson
5.0
When I try to review a Brandon Sanderson novel, everything I say just feels inadequate.
This book was slow off the start due to the large amount of world building needed to build up the story. There are so many characters, old and new, that needed to be built up.
I tried very hard to annotate and find all the "Easter eggs" and hints that Sanderson sprinkles throughout the novel. I was soooo confident in myself that I was on the right track just to have every theory derailed in the last 200pgs.
I loved it and I'm excited to continue on with the series.
