Himbo by Emmy Sanders
3.0
would have been four star if about 100 pages shorter.
Very much poor little rich boy, but Cas' personality all but made up for the weirdness of his family dynamic in the plot. I don't know how he had such a bad relationship with a group of people who were so completely supportive of him. It seemed like the plot and the characters back stories didn't really match.
I also sort of felt like Jason's name should have not been Jason? He didn't seem like a Jason *shrugs*
I also sort of wanted him to have the gene mutation because it would have made for a more impactful ending IMO.
But I also like when my characters suffer, so maybe i'm just a book sadist.
I digress, this was a very cute book. Cas was wonderful and it was fun to see Jason come into his own.
I liked that the porn plot was mostly just background noise and that they're relationship and romance took front and center.
I also thought that the ACE rep was wonderful. It definitely explained how the Pan/Ace/Asexual spectrum works in a very palatable way and I was more informed because of it. Kudos to Emma Sanders :)
