Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata

It is such an absurdly endearing tale and I loved it so much. I feel like people might go into this expecting a very plot-heavy book or a super exciting plot but, it doesn't really function like that, and not having that expectation definitely helps. I loved how unemotional, in the best possible way, Keiko is throughout the book and, I don't know it's a book I'd like to revisit when I'm in my own 30s I think. ALSO OH MY GOD SIRAHA IS JUST SO INFURIATING. Never have I ever wanted to hurt a fictional man as much.
