I'm probably the last person reading this book but here we are. This was a very cute and quick summer read. I found it beautifully written and I could see the lake and the cottage in front of my inner eye. 
The story was very predictable and I'm not a fan of the ending, nevertheless it was very enjoyable. 
The story is about growing up, friendship, first love, heartbreak. Reading this book just felt like a cozy blanket, even though the characters had to go through some big life changing events.
I felt for them and I loved the way they were written and interacted with one another. Teenage Sam and Percy were just cute. Adult Sam and Percy did not work for me. The small town setting and overall vibes were perfect. Makes me want to book a weekend at a lake immediately! This book simply is a beautiful summer read.
