The Hating Game by Sally Thorne

5.0

"Imagine being in my position. I take you to my ex-boyfriend's wedding and I'm all over you like a rash. I make you feel special. Important. I make you feel beautiful. And then you find out, and suddenly you're left wondering if it was real."

You ever read a book that kept you smiling and laughing and made you so ridiculously happy? The Hating Game does that. I adored the sizzling chemistry, sharp dialogue, witty banter and charming leads. Pretty much every scene was wonderful and I loved them all. Just as I was wondering how the conflict would ever reach a resolution... that ending! Perfection 😭😭😍😍😍

Gosh, it left me feeling all warm and fluffy and I didn't really want Lucy and Josh's story to end. It's quite possibly the best romance book I've ever read, though I haven't read that many adult fiction romances. This would make the perfect rom-com movie.

Can't wait for Sally Thorne's next novel!

"I'd have to be blind to not see the light of affection in his eyes as he wraps his arms tighter and begins kissing the side of my neck. I'd have to be a thousand years old to forget the way he kisses me.

"It's the fresh new bud of something that could one day be something remarkable, but I have severe doubts that it could survive in the real world. This bubble we're in? It's not reality. I wish it was, and I wished we lived here. All of this, I should say out loud to him, but I don't have the courage.
