I wasn’t a fan of the writing. I tried to get into it, but there was blatant homophobia, and a little bit of racism and sexism, and there was just not a lot happening at all. I wasn’t very interested, and although I tried to persevere, after about 150 pages of nothing much happening, I thought it’d be best to just jack it in.
