The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

emotional medium-paced

Great premise, poor execution. It's a story of a woman who lived through centuries but it's mostly a laundry list of hookups with random people in USA and European cities. Also, the devil?  The writing is very repetative, ended up listening to the audiobook halfway through. I really liked the audiobook narrator.

The editors dropped the ball on this one though, an art PhD student referring to The Girl with the Pearl Earring as a Rembrandt, no one caught that in proof reading 🤦‍♀️
