White Fragility: Why It's So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism by Robin DiAngelo

5.0

White Fragility gave me a greater understanding of race and the way it impacts society. It honestly expanded my worldview.

I most enjoyed the examinations of Western society as a whole and how everyone plays a part in it, even if we all think we're "individuals."

It also challenged some of my own pauses against the anti-racism movement.

My only critique is how repetitive sections of the book are - but I see how other readers might need it.

I think this is a book that a lot of White people should read, especially if they believe they aren't racist for reasons like "I'm colorblind" or "my bff is Black."
