The Bullet That Missed is another great installment of The Thursday Murder Club. This cold case is about the murder of a local news investigator ten years prior. Of course, there is a lot more that happens than the investigation itself. While the mystery aspect is a big part of the book for me, the relationships between the characters is what cements my enjoyment. I don’t like to give much detail in reviews of mysteries because reveals and surprises are part of the fun. So I shall say that the third book in the series is a great time with intrigue, danger, mystery, humor and even some romance.
I listened to the audiobook narrated by Fiona Shaw. I’ve been a fan of Ms. Shaw for a number of years and was excited when I learned she was the narrator. She does a great job. I am glad to see she is doing the next book too. I await it with great anticipation.
