I think this is one of those "right book at the right time" kind of moments. I really enjoyed this. It was an easy read and the plot was fairly predictable but I still found myself caught up in the story. Maybe it was the slight gothic vibes.. maybe it was the fact that the "sleuthing" that happened throughout the story felt both natural and plausible.. Maybe it's just that I've been sick and needed something low-key. I don't know. But I liked it.
