Alaskan Thunder by Nando Gray
3.0
2.5 star
I think Alaskan Thunder was just severely underdeveloped. There was A LOT of promise.
The plot would have totally worked, for realies. But the romance sort of made it not good? Like I love a good achillian love story- that's not a secret. But this one just wasn't necessary.
It also wasn't very believable, everything was just soooooo convenient. I'm also 200% sure you can't just wrestle a grizzly bear and only walk away with a scratch on your arm. And I'm also pretty sure grizzly bears are hibernating in the winter(?)
Just too much easy-ness for the characters in such an extreme predicament. I think that's why I didn't love this book honestly.
You're literally stranded in no mans land in the alaskan wilderness and you want to tell me that your main activity is boning... no showers, tooth brushes, food, water, heat.....?
I dunno
It had lots of potential, i just dont think it was ready for publishing at this point
