This was one of those randomly picked up on KU finds, and it wasn't a bad read. I did question whether or not to continue quite a bit. I kept holding out because I liked the synopsis of this one and was curious how they were going to end up together since the FMC refused to talk to him. Plus, there is a love triangle going on. It was just a weird love triangle thing going on almost the whole book, too, and I'm very much in the why choose camp or reverse harem. A few times, love triangles end up being really good to me, but overall, I prefer the other two. However, I wish the suspense was more important than the romance. The part that I enjoyed the most about this one was dealing with the suspense, but most of that happened at the end of the book, and I wish it played out throughout the whole book instead of at the very end. By the end of this book, we didn't even go anywhere. The main couple still isn't together; they are in a better place. The overall suspense was just getting started when it ended, and I wanted more in this one. I plan on continuing with something other than this series. I don't think it's for me.
