Jonah's Compass by Annabella Stone
4.0
“You know I’ll have your six, right? Together we’re stronger."
It's not often a military series comes along that knocks me completely on my ass..
Jonah & Matt still have their clutches in me and I finished this book.
This was a journey that was thrilling and adrenaline filled to the very end and most likely goes into Book 2.
Seeing someone across the room will always be a love for me in a book.
Jonah & Matt can't be together because of DADT and don't want to risk the fallout of what that could mean if they move forward with what they want, each other.
I will be the first to say that the breaks and time jumps had me so confused but it was done in a way that makes you definitely want to keep reading to find out what happened.
Shit just hits the fan.. EPICALLY and the fall out, broke everyone.
The way these two come together had me swooning so hard, the hospital room scenes had me so giddy but it doesn't last long for one of them.
Matt & Jonah is that second chance story that you hope happens and when it does it makes you happy that you think nothing could happen right? Right.
There is ups and downs throughout this book but it lays everything out on the when and most of all the why, which just hurts when you get the full story.
The "world building" is so spot on and the military aspect is
