The Impossible Truths of Love - Hannah Beckerman
"Grief. She is learning, is love's echo: it is not possible to have one without the other."
I did this one 50% audiobook and 50% on my own. I appreciate the story of this one, despite feeling like it drug on a bit too much. The beginning had me hooked but it just faded off for me. At a certain point I had it figured out & just wanted the main characters to finally say it out loud. Triggers for loss of a child.
I did appreciate the theme of family throughout and before I had it figured out, I really enjoyed the mystery. I do wish there had been a bit more character development with the sisters. I felt that was making. However, I did enjoy that the main character made steps forward on the last page. Overall, I enjoyed The Forgetting much more, but felt this one wasn't suspenseful or thrilling enough for me personally.
