I was obsessed when I read the first two books in this series in the fall. I loved Isabel, Lennox, Skye, and Artair so much! They were just a lot of fun, and the books were amazing! I loved how Vines wrote these books and was desperate for more. However, I was so nervous about picking up this next book. This book follows Sebastian, and he appears a lot in the first two books because he's Isobel's brother and Lennox's best friend. He always came off as a big controlling jerk in those books, so I never liked him and didn't want to read this book. I wasn't interested in Seb's story and didn't want to see him get a redemption arc. So I have been putting off picking this book up for months. But I finally gave in and picked it up, and it turns out I should've just trusted Vines. She knows what she's doing; I just needed to give it time. I loved this book. Seb went through a lot while he was in prison, and I was instantly hooked from the moment I picked this book up. I loved seeing his story play out, meeting Rose, and learning about his time in prison. It was a little predictable between him and Rose, but I didn't mind it. I liked the book and had a lot of fun with it.
