Space Heist! With an alien octopus! That uses neopronouns! I was confused for a little of this book, just trying to keep up with the rich backstory, but this brings a solid people trying to deal with each other vibe to the party that is just excellent.

This was a bit of a slog in the middle, but the ending really cranked it up several notches, bringing us to a truly weird planet and the whole story went a little insane for a while, which I REALLY enjoyed. I would like a sequel to this, I think it would work so well as a duology.
