The Fine Print by Lauren Asher
5.0
This first part is for the author Lauren Ahser. If you are not Lauren Asher, you can skip this part.
Ummmm Miss Ma'am, what kind of sorcery did you put into this book!? You had my ADHD self sitting and reading over 200 pages at a time! This may seem "normal" to some, but I fall asleep reading after a few pages. The audacity you have to make me fall in love with these characters, plot, and trilogy had me driving out the very next day after finishing to get the second book in the series. Not only did you have me way up in my feels to the point I had to warn my husband that I was gonna be super mad and rage if Rowen and Zahara did not end up with the fairytale happily ever after that I was so longing for. Luckily for him, he did not have to witness my temper tantrum, but my ugly cries of happiness for 2 characters that I grew so found of. Anyway, Ms. Asher, thank you for blowing all my expectations away on a book I grabbed on a whim. Do NOT let me down with the next 2 books!
Now you can read my review lol
βTo the girls who dream of meeting a prince
but end up falling for the misunderstood villain.β
β Lauren Asher, The Fine Print
Even after taking a day and half to process my emotions from reading The Fine Print, by Lauren Asher, I am still struggling to put in to words how much I adored this book. As you can tell (if you read the above) I went out the day after finishing The Fine print to pick up Terms and Conditions because I just have to continue this trilogy. It has been some time that a book had me running out to get the next book in a series. This book had it all for me
*Enemies to lovers
*Grumpy/Sunshine characters
*Interesting Plot
*Steamy Romance
*Characters that you come to care about.
The Fine Print is a well rounded romance novel that has the perfect balance of plot to romance. Rowan is the youngest of 3 siblings who all grew up in the Dreamland fairytale that their grandfather created. Now his beloved grandfather has passed away and has written an inheritance clause before Rowan can collect his inheritance. He has to somehow improve an already successful park and return happiness to one of the happiest places on earth. Rowan has his own motives as to why he wants to get this project completed and head back to his home in Chicago. But meeting Zahara has just flipped those plans upside.
Zahara is the total opposite of Rowan. She radiates sunshine and happiness and cares deeply about the guests that get overlooked at Dreamland. After meeting Rowan she quickly lands a coveted creator job on Rowan's team. But Zahara will help Rowan in more ways then coming up with new ideas to help him succeed in getting his coveted inheritance and his chance to leave Dreamland for good.
The Fine Print checked all the boxes off for me and was easily a 5 star book. Really hoping that the rest of the trilogy brings out the same emotions as The Fine Print.
