The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams
5.0
Okay I knew I was going to like this book, but I loved it so much more than I expected! It’s funny, I love the character growth, and this book went into a lot of deep conversations. There was significant character growth for everyone involved. I love how Thea and Gavin’s marriage issues didn’t rely on just one character being flawed, but a mix of everything they’ve been through in their 3-year marriage as well as their backstory.
I love how this book talks about toxic masculinity and the bromance book club gives the men in this book and outlet to express their feelings, learn new perspective, and seek advice when needed. More men really should lean on their friends when facing different issues in their life.
I thought this was a refreshing/creative take on a romance novel and it adds a deeper meaning to genre itself.
