This book was fantastic.
Preston is such a sweetheart and no one can convince me otherwise.
Preston & Sawyers story began in high school and continued as they grew up but for one it turned into so much more while the other didn't grasp what it was until he is in jeopardy of losing him.
While this book is straightforward there is a few layers to it that as you read it all starts to make sense especially when it comes to Preston.
The tricky part in this book for me was when Fitz was involved and Preston's parents. Both situations grated on my nerves but also I understood the reasoning but I didn't agree at all with it. Parents are supposed to love no matter what without conditions only these ones do not unfortunately.
I got a bit misty eyed when Preston finally took a stance for himself, I definitely wanted to hug him especially since he only gets proper hugs from Sawyer.
This book was more than the spice that is in it, while soo good, it wasn't the main focus. Preston & Sawyer's relationship and Preston's navigation around it were the main things for me.
Getting to see Donnie & Connor from Book 1 was an added bonus to this book too.
