I loved this! This was exactly what I expected it to be and what I wanted it to be!
I went into this knowing that it was gay. And honestly, that is what sold it to me, because if we're gonna be honest, we all love books that are unapologetically gay!
I loved every single part of this book and to say that it got me emotional is an understatement of the greatest kind. I have laughed, cried, cringed, I have felt everything imaginable while reading this and I loved it! I could relate to Luc's as well as Oliver's struggles on so many occasions and just wanted to hive them both a big hug at some points in the story because I knew how they felt. Alexis Hall really wrote Luc and Oliver to get all the emotions out of the reader.
That is not to say, that the supporting cast of characters wasn't great, too. They were so heartfelt and supportive and so funny. I genuinely laughed so hard during the gay road trip! It was all just so funny and weird and still felt so normal and welcoming.
I can not recommend this book enough! If uou want a cute gay romance with fake-dating but also a lot of emotions, go and read this right now!
