Hades by Carly Spade
5.0
I love the grumpy, angsty, tortured, wary God of the Underworld.
I absolutely love the way Carly depicted Hades. He is a good guy who has been portrayed badly within the media. His job and relationships have been manipulated and twisted to fit a modern version that does not necessarily fit who he is. Love it so much!
I felt the relationship between Hades and Stephanie was more realistic. Coming to terms with such a huge revelation would be difficult to accept and believe. And it would also be hard on the person sharing as they would be worried and scared of sharing. I love the way that Carly wrote and explored their relationship!
This book is so engaging and easy to read! I started the series with the last book, Zeus, and am now starting it at the beginning. Each book can be read as a standalone but I'm happy to now be getting back story as well.
