Overall thoughts:

I think that this was an okay first book in a series. There were scenes that definitely could have been cut out & it would have made the flow of the story better. But the story itself was kind of all over the place & I'm not sure certain things were handled rightly.

I am going to read on to the next book & see how I feel about the series
