So, there’s a novella prior to this I recommend reading first as it’s all about how Jake and Rachel meet and they do refer back to it a lot. It will make more sense if you read it first.

As for this one? I’m impressed. Emily was able to write purely about a hockey plot and make it stick to a hockey theme while adding lots and lots of spice.

About 80% in I’m not going to lie it started to drag, and I was wondering when it would be over. There’s a lot of spice and sometimes I personally felt like it could have been skipped.

Otherwise 5/5 10/10!! If you’re into why choose and hockey romance books…
