This is definitely my favourite in the series so far. It was very emotional and stressful for me while I was reading it! As usual, it was really well written and the mixed media style was great. The podcast was one of my favourite elements - it added a lot to the story and I enjoyed the formatting of it. The plot was fast paced and I liked how the two storylines ran together. Both plots were heavy, dark and twisty which kept me on the edge of my seat. The characters are my favourite part about this series and I really do love them all. Quinn definitely grew on me a little more in this book and I’m also starting to like Asante a lot. I feel like each character really got their own time to shine in this book which I appreciate. My heart ached for Somer. I experienced so much anxiety when reading about what was happening to Adam and I genuinely had to put the book down a few times because I was getting so frustrated. I loved how the Parrie storyline carried on from the previous book - it was really interesting. As the reader, we knew more than some of the characters and I was begging them to realise what was going on. The other plot with the professor was also interesting and definitely twisty. The epilogue really did surprise me which I loved. The ending for Adam and Alex made me tear up. I cannot wait to read the next book!
