The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides

5.0

Type of read: Commuter (listened to and from work)

What made me pick it up: I believe it was suggested in my Libby app or my weekly suggestions from my library.

Overall rating: I absolutely loved this book! I had zero expectations and was totally blown away. I was not expecting the ending at all and the storyline kept me engaged throughout the entire book. The characters were complex yet relatable. The scene was interesting yet understandable. While it was a "story," it didn't seem fake or forced. I don't know if there are words to describe how much of a good read I thought this was. There were multiple times where I had "WHAT?!" moments. I would absolutely recommend The Silent Patient.
