This writing is actually atrocious, I'm sorry. I can't keep powering through this. I don't care about the characters, I don't like the writing style, everything was rushed, the timing of this one with the first one was off and I'm pretty sure it was Paedyn who was supposed to come and get Adina, not some random guard. That was the last straw. This book is filled with empty troupes and no substance to the characters at all.
