The Wretched of the Earth by Frantz Fanon
5.0
probably one of the most incredible books ive ever read period. its hard not to get swept up in fanon's language and whirlwind of revolutionary ideas especially as a member of any minority
it might not all hold up under careful scrutiny and historical hindsight... but our confrontations on why are just as valuable as the captured specific ideas in the book itself. it makes it all the more engrossing because it establishes a mental dialogue. it reads like passioned speech. only the most incredible revolutionary texts can pull this off, and hit u like that lightningbolt
id give this six stars if i could: i'll be thinking about this for a long time
