Body of Evidence by Rachel Grant
5.0
Body of Evidence is the second book of the Evidence series but can also be read as a stand alone.
This book was thrilling, suspenseful, and will knock your socks off with a sizzling sexual tension that consumes the story and the whitty characters that take center stage. Mara is a petite woman with tough as nails inner strength. Curt is the man who saved her from death by firing squad and is also the prosecutor trying to put her uncle behind bars. When Mara and Curt escape one too many attempts on her life, they go into hiding. While trying to escape the person hunting for them, they are forced to face the attraction that is boiling to the surface.
This action packed romance will have you on the edge of your seat. Body of Evidence is skillfully written and will have you hooked from the very beginning. You are sure to be left idolizing Mara and swooning for Curt Dominick. While this is the first book that I have read by Rachel Grant, it surly will not be my last. My absolute favorite part of this book was the "long distance" connection that they maintain; it truly shows the connection that Mara and Curt have without all of the physical chemistry getting in the way.
*I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion*
