Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman

5.0

It might be bad that I so completely relate to Eleanor, whose best friend is a houseplant and her only outlet is to go to work, where she doesn’t fit in with her colleagues with her black Velcro shoes. Eleanor wants to fit in, but she never has since the few relationships she’s had have been abusive and she was mostly raised in foster homes (which seemed like a big upgrade from her mother).

I thoroughly enjoyed this witty and observant book!
