I’m making my way through this author’s catalog and discovering it’s very ‘hit or miss’ for me. This one seemed very promising since it’s set in a small town!

Once again, Lapena shows what can happen when people panic, interfere, aren’t truthful, and under- or overestimate one another and it’s fascinatingly realistic in that aspect.

This one had lots of plausible suspects with respective motive and I liked getting Diana’s POV at times. A hit, IMO.
