An angel and a demon falling in love with each other? It sounds like an old tune played one too many times already, but halt, foolish human!! That is not the case this time.

Another novel I spied here in Goodreads, I am delighted to say it exceeded expectations and twisted my imagination in the most beautiful way possible. Daughter of Smoke & Bone is a pure joy to read; everything about the story was intricately woven in this magnificent web of mystery, love, and magic that I willingly got myself entangled in. The author, Laini Taylor, has a natural gift for writing, and bless her soul for putting that gift to good use.

Think you already know everything about angels and demons—their world, their lives, their animosity towards each other? Well, this novel will prove you wrong, and you will love it.
