Once Charmed, Twice Cursed by Shaylin Gandhi
fast-paced
3.0
⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 1,5🌶️
The idea of the story was really interesting. The FMC, Bria, is Charmed and bears the mark of the fortune goddess. The beginning of the book was great, but unfortunately, the story lost some of its charm in the middle.
The pacing was a bit too fast for my liking, and at times the story felt rushed and the plot a bit confusing. A slower pace with more world and character building would have made this a more enjoyable reading experience.
It's not a bad book by any means, but personally, I would have preferred a bit slower pace and maybe about 50 pages more to allow for better explanations of certain things.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
