The Kingmaker's Daughter by Philippa Gregory

4.0

I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to any who like Gregory's books or this period in history. After reading the white queen I got a little frustrated in the last half of the book with Anne and Richard's attitude towards Elizabeth but stuck with it and was happy I did. I like the portrayal of Richard particularly in this book and how he is not a bad guy, he's just making the hard decisions. The other perspective of the war was very well done I think. My only issue is that, like with her other books, it seems like most of the action is off screen. However that comes with stories being in this period where women ruled behind the scenes rather then at the face of the action. A good read over all, I want to read the rest of the books in this series.
