I honestly didn’t think I would like this book based on the blurb but I decided to take a chance anyways. The blurb just wasn’t pulling me in. But once I started reading…

I don’t think I’ve ever read a book with degradation as a kink. This was surprisingly HOT! It was so unexpected! I really thought the heroine was an idiot and that she was just so naive. But then I started to like her at the end when the feelings started coming out. I love when the MCs start owning their shit. It’s the best part of the enemies-to-lovers trope when both characters realize their idiots in love for each other and stop denying it. Can we say *swoon*?

Christina was desperately trying to find herself and free herself from her parents disappointment in her for not being the “perfect” daughter. So she made an unlikely deal with Patrick. Over time she was able to finally see herself and her value after forming this relationship was Patrick.

Once the masks were off the chemistry was just amazing and I began to love everything about this pairing.

4 stars mainly for the spice because it was delicious. But also for the plot and the emotional build up. Im a sucker for the dramaaaaa
