What an amazing book! Each chapter is a different character from the same two families throughout history, so it almost felt like each chapter was an entirely new short story. Hence the reason why it took me a bit longer to read. I felt that I could read other things while in between each character. Being that the characters originate in Africa and that is a culture I don’t know much about, this book was written so it was very easy to learn about the continent and it’s people. Please read this book! So good!
