Ok I have owned this book for a while and just never pressed play.
I am so glad I finally did because this was awesome!

The action and the characters sucked me in, and I couldn’t, wouldn’t put it down.
The shit these characters went through will blow your mind. And yet they come out of it better than ever, not because of their experience but because they come out of it together.

I loved Taelon and Lisa. What a force to be reckoned with. But also, just the fact that you learn you're not the only species on the planet is not only a shock but how she embraces it.
It really was a great world building book and sets it up perfectly for book 2.

GREAT NARRATION, IT HAS THE BE YELLED BECAUSE WOW JUST WOW.
