I just couldn't get into this book. The book being about the barrs the queers flocked to have a sort of community would be interesting if it was more of a nonfiction of the nightlife minus the memoir aspects of the book. It jumped around from different bars and locations and i occasionally got confused. And with his portions of him in just didn't do it for me. I can't be sure how to place it other than a board that it is bar hopping through the ages with a little bit of history of the life of that bar visited or others nearby
