Ice Cold Alice by C.P. Wilson

4.0

Despite not being my typical fare, this is one of the most viscerally satisfying books I have read in years. From the horrifying beginning to the enticing end, I was hooked all the way through.

Part of what made this so fulfilling was the concrete emotional credibility of the characters. While Alice may be the Dark Knight of abused women, her motivations ring more true to life than your typical superhero. Though part of me recognizes the cruel and unethical nature of her murders, I still find her completely moral and sympathetic.

This book has me shamelessly wishing for a fictional serial killer to be IRL. #PressIn
