Smart and engaging, #alienclay takes the reader to a new frontier where humans must battle native flora and fauna they are intrigued, baffled, and wary of.

Tchaikovsky is descriptive, using his prose to immerse the reader in the environment where he has set his story. As humans do wheneever they discover something or somewhere new, their aim is always to conquer. It is never seeking a symbiotic or cohesove existence, but here on Kiln, the lifeforms have their own way. I thoroughly enjoyed what he accomplished here, balancing the biology with the character behaviour and development.
