We follow what's happening in Vegas with the Motorcycle Club, The Predators, where Blue (from Maybe One More Time & from Ante Up) is the Prez and Tatianna (Tati) Tate is VP. 'The Fall' happens resulting in a major shift and in walks Onyx! Tati hates Onyx, Onyx likes to tease, some Roses & Thorns pop up, some killing, and the story goes from there, including a major cliff hanger at the end of this first book!
What I enjoy about CCJ's novel writing is YES, it is romance but the romance is secondary or supports the plot. The plot keeps it going. The plot in THIS novel connects us to all the Vegas people, especially the Roses and Thorns of the Garden. This book continues to complete the CCJ Universe. & There are a lot of twists and turns that makes it oh so enjoyable.
I, personally, don't know how this book has less than 5 stars, but also know some people look for straight romance. As far as me and this plot? Oh, Imma turn up!
