More like interconnected short stories, I really enjoyed these twisty turny tales and the almost elemental, fairytale-esque quality to them. This reminded me a little of collections like A Portable Shelter by Kirsty Logan but I liked it more, perhaps because it had the thread of Neverness running through it with recurring characters to tie it together. Not quite as glorious as Mischief Acts to me, but still very enchanting.
