Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender
4.5
What a LOVELY book!
I loved Felix's character SO dang much and his character development is phenomenal.
Not only is this just a really lovely and heartfelt story, it's also low-key educational. There are gender identities discussed in this book that I didn't even know existed! I felt a lot more educated after finishing and I'm going to make it a goal to educate myself further on the various gender identities.
I think Kacen Callender did such a lovely job writing this book. The writing is not only beautiful, but the story itself is beautiful as well. Their writing is just... *chef's kiss*
I removed a half-star because I kind of didn't like the ending. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so all I'm going to say is that I typically like enemies to lovers more than friends to lovers. If you've read this one, that should be enough to explain why I wasn't a hug fan of the ending.
Overall, such a magical book. 10/10 recommend!
