“We couldn’t live as humans anymore, not in a world ruled by monsters. We had to become monsters as well.”
“Is this your roundabout way of asking me to take my clothes off?”
“I’m ready for you to beg now.”
“I think you’re confusing romantic with horny.”
“I’m not leaving my books and going outside!”
Amazing start to a new romantasy series!
This book gave me similar feelings to reading TOG for the first time. Not because of a similar storyline but because of rich world building, interesting characters, and a storyline that whisked me away from my everyday life to a new fantasy world
I loved everything about this book. The world building was amazing—beautifully written and interesting. I loved how new information and details about the world were revealed throughout the story
The Moroi, Velesians, and Furies all seemed interesting with different characteristics and powers. I can’t wait to learn more about all of them.
Samara seemed like an interesting FMC. She was strong, fierce, and intelligent. I loved the relationship dynamics and development between her and the different MMCs. All the characters seemed well developed with their own personalities, abilities, and backstories.
The plot itself sucked me in from the very first page and didn’t let go. I devoured this book and can’t wait to read the next one in the series.
